As Kia re-launched its brand in 2021, they needed a premium website to match the new look and feel. We reimagined Kia.com from the ground up - from UX to design to content - to create an elevated digital experience.
As the head of the Copy Team, I developed the tone and voice that we use on Kia.com and led the group of writers that created day-to-day content for the site. I also worked closely with the Strategy and UX team to come up with new landing pages that explored Kia's innovations, safety features, sustainability efforts, and advanced technologies. This cross-team collaboration was a key part of what made Kia.com's transformation so successful.
The results? Kia.com skyrocketed up J.D. Power's automaker website rankings - from #12 to the #1 spot. (Not to mention a 451% increase in engagement on the homepage).
